Iodine is essential for our health, yet it’s surrounded by confusion and misinformation. Supplements, labels, dosages, restrictions, and regulations only add to the complexity — leaving many uncertain about what’s safe and responsible. Our perspective comes from several stages of direct experience: starting with early iodine and potassium iodide preparations sold on eBay, followed by the distribution of government-authorized iodine supplements, and continuing today through the on-site formulation of iodine and potassium iodide solutions alongside a career in chemical distribution.
